Troy Watson Celebrates 10 years at RSI

How has your role changed since you first started?

My role at RSI has changed dramatically. I started out 10 years ago with no experience in the refrigeration field. I started as a PM tech, cleaning equipment and doing small repairs. Now my day-to-day job consists of scheduling, planning, surveying jobs, phone support, technical back up, teaching and building up my service techs, and maintaining customer relations. Pretty much keeping my zone running as smooth as I possibly can.

How do you feel you’ve grown professionally in the past ten years?

I have grown 10-fold. I’m definitely wiser. I love what I do, and I take pride in it. I strive to be the best at what I do.

Favorite work-related memory?

I can’t pinpoint just one favorite memory, but it would be all the people I’ve met and interactions over the years that have helped me grow, as a person/father/coworker whether that be past techs/office personal or people you meet on job sites.

What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?

My hobbies consist of gaming, anything car related, and spending time with my family and being the best father I can to my two girls.
