Repair and Maintenance During a Pandemic
Refrigerated Specialist Inc. (RSI) President, Scott Hester, recently spoke with Foodservice Equipment and Supplies about repair and maintenance during the pandemic.
To help cut costs, one of the tips Scott gives to operators is to simply make sure staff is using equipment properly. Using equipment properly can save you from having to place unnecessary and preventable service calls.
Additionally, good communication with your service agent, not only speeds up repair time, but also can limit contact between a field technician and kitchen staff. Scott says that being flexible with scheduling can allow service agents to handle maintenance and repairs when fewer people are around.
